The i-Proclaim Annual Research Awards (ARA), a prestigious Research Awards program organized by ABC Malaysia, seeks to recognize and reward the outstanding performance, talent and effort of the best research contributors, PhD holders and agencies dealt with research and publication in the Asia and global context.

The i-Proclaim ARA Scheme
The i-Proclaim Annual Research Awards (affectionately known as the ARA) are now in their third year. The ARA scheme was instituted in the year 2015 by the i-Proclaim of ABC Malaysia, are presented yearly during the Annual Research Conference (ARC) that is conducted during December month of the year. and the scheme has a Criteria, Standards, Eligibility Rules, Application Form, Expert Committee, Judging Process etc that are governed by the ABC Board of Trust.
Scheme Objectives
i-Proclaim has a history of successful celebration of Scientific Events & Award Ceremonies from the 2015. Our executive team, from inception to implementation, has a Accountability, Transparency and Commitment. We believe that the mentality, resourcefulness, creative talents and diverse thinking of the ABC Board of Trust is the driving force behind our success.
2nd Research Awards- ARA 2016, Brunei Darussalam. The 2nd ARA was held in the Universiti Brunei Darussalam (UBD), Brunei on December 30, 2016. The ARA 2016 was hosted by the ABC Malaysia. The ARA 2016 identified 24 nominees and bestowed the Award. | Guest of Honours | Winners List |

The ARA Award scheme, is part of Annual Research Conference (which is a self-supporting event) and does not receive funding from any institution/government. The registration fees are the major source of revenue for running the event. All the expenses of the events (Planning, Promotion & Publicity, Equipment/Major Rentals, Photography, Lunch and Breaks, Materials, Gifts/Premiums, Publications, Taxes, Execution and Miscellaneous Costs, Website & Its Maintenance etc) are covered by the event income (registration fees from the participants) and foundation operating funds.
The registration fees collected will also supports the long term development of the Annual Research Conference (ARC) and to keep the ARC format viable by ensuring that infrastructure and services are in place from year to year.

General Information
Each winner will be announced and asked to collect their award on stage with an official photographer to capture the moment.
Event Dress Code
Award Recipients have to wear Formal Dress or their National Costume. There are no restrictions to color or design. Audience attending only the ceremony can wear clothing of their own choice.
Judging Criteria
The i-Proclaim ARA Judging is a peer review process, based on nomination documents submitted by the eligible individual. The panel (from diverse backgrounds, working individually) will be looking for exceptional research record of significant contribution to the laboratory/institute/industry like Grants-Patents- Collaboration with Industries/Institutions- Contracts- Publications (Articles and Books)- Special Awards- Citation on Publication- Other Accomplishments.
The Judge panel is instructed to score entries from 0 to 100, using the criteria. The i-Proclaim aggregates the scores to determine each category. The panel decision is final and binding.

i-Proclaim ARA Process
- Step-1: Nomination papers will be sent for screening process (preliminary selection)
- Step-2: Acknowledgement intimation will be communicated to the Nominee
- Step-3: ARA Team may ask the proof for the credits mentioned in the CV. (Optional)
- Step-4: Cross verifying the data submitted & forwarding it to the Committee
- Step-5: The selected nominees will be communicated via a formal letter via mail
- Step-6: Registration Process & ARA List updatetion in Webpage
- Step-7: Floating the Award Winner Profile & including the same in the ARA Report
- Step-8: Award Presentation Ceremony
- Step-9: Release of the ARC & ARA 2017 Report
